I just bout a tv tuner for my computer and i need to ask a question?

I just bout a MicroPac TV Tuner and Video Capture PCI Card with Remote @ walmart .com ( here is the link http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10087405) and it works fine until i want to record tv shows. Do i need to buy myself a sound card or is there a nother method of gaining sound and video during the record. And if the computer is off and i set it for a time when the pc is off will it still record?

I'm sure you already have a sound card in your system. The problem is likely that you just need to hook up the "audio out" port of your tuner card to the "line in" port of your sound card.
