PCI-E Slot, Do I need to get a DVI adaptor?

Hey, got the computer from a friend and he was using a screen which could use DVI, Now that I've got it I had to take the PCI-E graphics card in which I believe is a 256mb dedicated card, (GV-NX86S256H-8) Is the product code.

My question is do i need to get an adaptor to use the PCI-E card in the slot because my screen is VGA, meaning I would need to get a VGA to DVI adaptor to have the graphics card in and have it working with the screen?

Or is there another way around it?

A little more information... At first I tried plugging in the monitor which is an old CRT with a VGA connection into the motherboard and nothing came up, at all. So I looked at the computer, the PCI-E slots graphics card has 2 DVI inputs but no VGA so I took it out and plugged the CRT VGA plug into the motherboard to get it working again..

SO do i need to buy a VGA to DVI adaptor to run this graphics card on the VGA CRT monitor?

They do make DVI to VGA analog adapters. Which is what you will need if you plan on using a VGA monitor on the DVI-only card. There is no other way around it. There would be no sense in leaving the monitor plugged into the motherboard with such a nice PCI-E card. Just get an adapter and use the new card and be happy
