diy rubiks kit question?
um if i would like to re-sticker my rubiks cube but i don't really want to do them one-by-one. Can i just use like duct tape substititing the clear thing in the diy kit? Is there really a difference or is that tape specially made so it doesn;t rip the stickers. Thank you to all those who answer.......
my overall question is.... is the the clear thing in the diy kit u get from cube4you.com same as regular duct tape?
Yeah, there is a difference, I really doubt it would work. Even with the special thing that comes with the DIY kit's not going to get them on there straight, and if they're not straight, they'll tear and chip off.
Just do it one by one, it only takes about 10 minutes, and it'll be a lot better in the long run.
SparkFun’s Electric Sheep: For The Android-Obsessed Tinkerer In You (Techcrunch)
If you think about it, your smartphone has some really nifty bits lodged
inside of it. There's a GPS chip in there, not to mention an accelerometer,
and occasionally even (gasp!) a compass. The folks at SparkFun want to take
all of those components and expose them to the outside world, and they intend
to do it with a little something called the Electric Sheep. The Electric Sheep
is a little Arduino-based breakout board that allows users to create their own
homebrew accessories and hook them up to an Android device.
